The property is facing the famous Schoenenbourg Grand Cru vineyard producing some of the best Alsace wine. Two other apartments are in a 17th Century adjacent house. Both houses are surrounding a small garden. The Old Winery earned (2016) a Golden Award for the quality of our renovation works. The Dove’s Nest*****

A real Alsatian house converted into a very romantic luxury gîte for 2 to 4 people. Official 5 star classification. One of the most special places to stay in Riquewihr. Two beautiful bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, one on the ground floor, the other under the beautiful roof frame. Large living space (living room, kitchen and Alsatian dining room) which extends over the entire 1st floor. For adults and older children. Air conditioning. Private parking space.

A very characterful location

From the year 1291, Riquewihr had raised a first rampart enclosure. Opposite the vineyard, we have set up 6 charming cottages, in a former winery (see above). Then, the space having become too narrow for a small town in full swing (thanks to the wine trade), two centuries later, in the year 1500, Riquewihr built a second rampart. Today, the enrow of this second fortified wall offers one of the most picturesque views of Riquewihr.

The Western side of our properties are part of the ramparts. On the eastern side, in the picturesque ‘rue des Remparts’, the house appears as a traditional Alsatian timber framed house.
