The Little Bear***** cottage, Riquewihr

Little Bear 5* holiday apartment for 2 people. Quiet location & direct access.

In the historic village of Riquewihr, the Little Bear***** is a charming 2-person cottage on a quiet little square with direct access to the apartment. This apartment is ideal for those who don’t like stairs. It’s very well heated in winter. It’s also perfect for working remotely (high speed internet). Little outside space in front of the house.

Our Little Bear is a true cocoon, romantic and comfortable!

Our Little Bear cottage is part of our Rempart 1291 cottages and offers a high level of comfort and convenience: a well-equipped kitchen, a living area, a bedroom with a double bed and high-quality bedding, a separate toilet, and a bathroom with a large walk-in shower (see the list below and the video for more details).

The former small entrance hall overlooking the square is designed as a sort of winter garden, serving as a dining room or… an office for those who wish to unfold their laptop to work remotely: simply open the main entrance door wide and it’s as if you were sitting outside, protected from the rain.

The Little Bear cottage directly overlooks the small Place des Vignerons. In front of the house, we have created a small terrace area with two armchairs and a coffee table. On sunny days, it’s a delightful place to enjoy your morning coffee or a glass of excellent Riquewihr wine on a summer evening.

Our gîte “Little Bear” offers peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the main street while still being just steps from the shops. The apartment has two separate entrances. Access is via just three steps at the front or a small paved ramp on the side. The cottage “Little Bear” does not meet the standards for independent access and use by wheelchair users. However, the apartment has been designed to facilitate the stay of those with difficulty navigating stairs. There are no steps inside the apartment. The shower is a walk-in shower.

Our Little Bear***** gîte benefits from excellent natural insulation, so we didn’t consider it necessary to install energy-intensive air conditioning. The gîte is well heated in winter and fans are available in summer.

Would you like to see where the gîte is located in the historic village of Riquewihr? It’s very simple: we invite you to watch our videos carefully.

A key advantage of our “Little Bear” cottage: upon arrival, you can follow our directions to the house and quickly unload your luggage. You will then need to park your vehicle behind the gate of the private parking lot, just on the other side of the small square. Please note: long-term parking in the square is prohibited. To reserve your private parking space, check the appropriate box in the options offered when booking online.
