Spend a holiday with your dog in our vacation homes in Alsace

YES! We are delighted to welcome you with your doggie!

Are you looking for a holiday apartment where you and your dog are welcome? We all love our pets and holidays are the perfect time to spend more time with our beloved animals. The location of our holiday apartments in Riquewihr and La Vancelle enable wonderful walks in the vineyards and forest, all of which are very easy to reach on foot.

Then it is important to find a suitable holiday apartment. We do our best for that. Below we will tell you which of our holiday apartments are most practical when traveling with your dog. Unfortunately we cannot accept all types of pets. Although we love cats (we also have one at home), their behavior is too risky for the furniture and other fragile items. Not to mention allergy problems for our other guests.

To make the story clear and short, we are happy to welcome your dog, but unfortunately we cannot accept any other type of pet.

House rules and guidelines for a stay with your dog

A well-educated adult dog (dogs under 12 months old are too young) is welcome if the following common-sense rules are respected:

  1. The dog must have insurance (that of the master is generally sufficient).
  2. The dog should never be left alone in the apartment (in France he can almost always go to the restaurant with us),
  3. It must be clean and calm
  4. The dog should not climb on/in the bed or the sofa, and must also bring his basket.

A fee of 10 EUR/day/dog is charged by the cleaning team for a special cleaning at the end of the stay.

Vacationing with your dog is possible in all of our vacation rentals. But the following holiday apartments are particularly practical and pleasant with a dog:
The Little Bear, the Little Wolf, the Fox & the Grapes, the Gobelin’s Studio, the Lucky Dragon and the Mountain Hiker in La Vancelle.

Booking for the dog is offered during the booking process (select relevant option).

Vacation time is also a time of greater closeness with our dog.

Our holiday apartments are all located on the city walls of Riquewihr, i.e. on the edge of the historic village. In addition to being quiet, we are also a few dozen meters from the vineyard. It is very easy to take your dog outside the village. Beautiful walks are possible along the wine adventure trails. Visiting Schoenenbourg Hill will give you a wonderful view of the village. The hike from Riquewihr to Hunawihr and back along the trails is a lovely hike (4km). A few hundred meters away the forest and the mountain begin. The options for walks, hikes and picnics are endless!
See the video below. It will show you where our holiday apartments are located.
